Sobrevivir traduciendo el poder. La soberanía de Dios en contextos imperiales y apocalípticos

Este artículo explora cómo la narrativa de fe de Israel sobrevive y se transforma bajo dos horizontes imperiales —Persia y Grecia— mediante la «traducción » teológica del poder y de la historia. En Is 45,1-7, el rey persa Ciro es llamado paradójicamente «ungido» de YHWH, revelando un monoteísmo providente que des-sacraliza el imperio y lee la geopolítica como liturgia divina: la historia se convierte en éxodo. En Dn 7,1-14, escrito en tiempos de opresión helenística, la visión apocalíptica desenmascara la animalización del poder imperial y su juicio ante el «Anciano de Días», que restituye el dominio a los «santos del Altísimo». Entre la fijación de la memoria en época persa y la expansión de la Palabra mediante la traducción (LXX) en el mundo griego, la Escritura sobrevive traduciendo: lingüística, cultural y teológicamente. «Sobrevivir traduciendo» el poder nombra así la vocación de Israel: reinterpretar la soberanía, preservar la fe entre lenguas y humanizar el poder bajo la mirada del Dios que «abre puertas» y «juzga a las naciones».
