Ética budista como referencial para a bioética: Revisão integrativa da literatura

Resumen

Trata-se de análise das interfaces entre ética budista e bioética a partir de revisão integrativa da literatura que aplicou as palavras-chave “Bioethics”, “Buddhism” e “Health”. Analisaram-se 17 artigos que atendiam critérios de inclusão e cujos conteúdos reuniram temas variados, como diferenças culturais, questões de fim de vida e aborto. Verificou-se que a ética budista enfatiza compaixão e interrelações como bases para ações em saúde, oferecendo à bioética potente referencial interdisciplinar e intercultural para enfrentamento de conflitos éticos contemporâneos envolvendo a saúde individual, coletiva e global.
