One Health y las nuevas herramientas para promover la salud desde una perspectiva holística y medioambiental

Resumen

El SARS-CoV-2 ejemplifica la íntima relación entre la salud humana, animal y ambiental. One Health va más allá del concepto biomédico de salud, centrándose en la interrelación entre individuos, microorganismos y ecosistemas. Su aplicación en la gobernanza sanitaria se basa en la interdisciplinariedad, la implicación de toda la sociedad, el big data, la inteligencia artificial y la información científica rigurosa. La adopción de One Health es una necesidad urgente para reestructurar las políticas de desarrollo y hacerlas más efectivas y sostenibles, y proteger y promover la salud individual y colectiva, en el sentido más amplio del concepto de bioética, tal como propugnaban Jahr o Potter, y de forma totalmente alineada con la Agenda 2030.
