La historia de Israel: el cambio de paradigma y sus retos para la docencia

Resumen

La investigación sobre la historia de Israel ha experimentado importantes cambios en las tres últimas décadas que, sin embargo, no se han trasladado con la misma intensidad a los proyectos curriculares, a la docencia o a los contenidos didácticos. Este artículo estudia esta realidad y para ello presenta, en primer lugar, cuál es el estatuto de la historia de Israel en los estudios teológicos y cuáles son las dificultades didáctico-docentes, analizando especialmente la problemática para conciliar la enseñanza de la historia sagrada y la historiografía crítica. En segundo lugar, expone los principales cambios vividos por la disciplina en las últimas décadas y su relevancia. Por último, propone dos realidades que deben ser mejor integradas en los proyectos curriculares: la historia sobre las mujeres del antiguo Israel y la perspectiva medioambiental. Su inclusión contribuiría a la mejora de los itinerarios formativos, de la reflexión teológica y de la práctica pastoral.
