Resumen

Este artículo pretende acercarse a la problemática del idiolecto del evangelio de Marcos desde la sociolingüística, como medio para entender mejor a su autor y a la comunidad discursiva a la que se dirige y comprender así la acción social que quiere desarrollar su relato. Para ello se procederá presentando aquellos conceptos y definiciones que propone la sociolingüística y que afectan a la comprensión de las diferentes variedades del lenguaje. Posteriormente se aplicarán estas herramientas al evangelio de Marcos para analizar aspectos significativos de su idiolecto, especialmente aquellos que están relacionados con su uso del multilingüismo. Desde ese análisis se extraen algunas conclusiones que iluminan desde otro ángulo su idiolecto, así como las acciones sociales que pudo querer llevar a cabo su autor a través de las estrategias lingüísticas que se pueden reconocer desde el estudio de su idiolecto.
