Major Theological Issues for Ecumenical Dialogue in the 21st Century

In these lines we intend to recall the main topics discussed, in order to be able to draw up a map of the theological questions pending in ecumenical dialogue. To this end, we will follow the official dialogues held by the Catholic Church with the various Christian confessions from the Second Vatican Council to the present day, in order to lay the foundations for any future theological dialogue. The themes addressed will be Christology and the Trinity, soteriology, the Church, the ministry and the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. In these lines, we appreciate the doctrinal convergences and divergences that encourage us to a hopeful ecumenical dialogue.
