Resumen

Durante la década 2005 - 2015 bajo el mandato de los presidentes de Hu Jingtao y de Xi Jinping, China ha logrado un enorme éxito no solo en el ámbito económico sino también en el desarrollo político y diplomático. Con la nueva iniciativa del Cinturón Económico de la Ruta de la Seda propuesta por el gobierno de Xi en 2013, China ha pretendido encontrar una alternativa especialmente en los asuntos del Mar de la China Meridional, la cuestión nuclear de Corea Norte y la cuestión de Taiwán. La emergencia de la "brecha estratégica" que tiene como fin estabilizar la atmósfera circundante, hace que se convierta en una tarea apremiante para la diplomacia china centrada en Eurasia con el objetivo de revisar el orden internacional.
