Abstract

The article aims at clarifying how to make good ethical decisions. Its author proposes a synthesis of key aspects in General Ethics, from a personal reading of some of the most prominent paradigms in Moral Philosophy. After proposing a kind of algorithm for a moral reasoning, he concludes pointing at the convenience of articulating an eclectic approach. At the same time, he under lines the danger of falling into rationalizations that would lead to misunderstandings and distortions in the discernment, in the deliberative process and, aboveall, in the implementation of an wrong action from an ethical point of view.
