Abstract

The change of educational paradigm in the last years affects straight the ways and means of teaching. In the case of Physical Education, this change is conditioned by the characteristics and needs of the students and by the social value given to physical activity. We will address the main components of this change, how they affect our teaching work and outline some of the emerging principles to guide and transform teaching in Physical Education.
