Abstract

This article discusses the criteria to be taken into account when choosing which toys to give to children for Christmas. Above all, it is necessary to dispense with the ideas imposed by advertisements. An extensive list of types of toys to buy for children depending on their age (from 0 months to over 4 years) is offered. One of the main objectives of giving toys to young children is not to limit their possibilities, i.e. that the child can bring into play the greatest number of cognitive-motor schemes.
