Abstract

This reflection comes from a question that the director of this magazine made to me: In your dreams, what would be your ideal teacher training? And to think about what kind of teacher training we want, we need to know for what kind of school we are preparing him/her. For this reason we have so far the Finnish model because in Finland the hole educational system is redesigned, they have closed teacher training schools and established a unique, highly selective model of university teacher training (only 10% of applicants can get in) and intense work which includes the residence in the classroom. And when you have finished your teacher training, is the headmaster of each school who selects the teacher.
