Abstract

Human psychomotor development can be represented as a pyramid whose apex represents the basics learning skills of our culture: reading, writing and counting. It is necessary to detect as soon as possible alarm signs during this process in order to be able to implement psychomotor educational programs that will help to minimize these difficulties. This protocols should take place in a enrich learning environment. At home, parents must endeavor to achieve the goals within the appropriate time scale to prevent learning difficulties.

Alfonso Lázaro Lázaro

Psicomotricista. Psicopedagogo. Doctor en Pedagogía. Coordina el Centro de Recursos del Colegio Público de Educación Especial Gloria Fuertes de Andorra (Teruel), España. Autor de varios libros y de docenas de artículos relacionados con la psicomotricidad, la integración sensorial, las estimulaciones básicas del desarrollo humano y las aulas multisensoriales y de relajación. En abril de 2004 el Departamento de Educación del Gobierno de Aragón le otorgó la Cruz de José de Calasanz por su contribución teórica y práctica al estudio de la Psicomotricidad en el ámbito de la Educación Especial.
