José Luis López Aranguren, Reader of Kierkegaard
Keywords:
ethics, Aranguren, Kierkegaard, instant, repetition, anguish.Abstract
Throughout his fruitful intellectual career, Professor Aranguren not only read, meditated on and interpreted Kierkegaard, but he also assumed part of his thoughts and integrated them into his practical philosophy. He approached some fundamental philosophical categories in Kierkegaard’s work, and tried to systematize them, because in them he saw real possibilities to construct philosophical ethics on a par with his time, existential ethics capable of captivating contemporary men, away from systematic treaties and specialised philosophical jargon.Downloads
