Abstract

The Wittgensteinian recognition of the particular use made of words in religious language games provides an avenue for the development of a philosophy of religion that distances itself from the modern rationalistic conceptions of the subject. This article presents the main aspects of Wittgenstein’s reconsideration of the meaning of religion
