El Cristo del Elqui
Abstract
El desierto de Atacama, en el norte de Chile, no es un lugar despoblado, está lleno de historias de hombres y mujeres que han marcado el quehacer diario de pueblos solitarios y aislados que a comienzos del siglo XX, por la fiebre del salitre, estuvieron poblados por personas en uno de los lugares más secos del mundo. En este ambiente surgen historias de iluminados que sintiendo la llamada de Dios se lanzan a predicar su propio evangelio de poblado en poblado por todo el desierto. Una de estas historias la recoge el escritor chileno Hernán Rivera Letelier en El arte de la resurrección, premio Alfaguara 2010.Downloads
