Mental health problems have increased with the COVID-19 pandemic and this emotional suffering is experienced, in most cases, alone. This is due to the fear of being stigmatized as different from the rest of society, further aggravating feelings of vulnerability and emotional fragility. From the Good News announced by Jesus, we are challenged to look at the reality of emotional suffering beyond stereotypes and social prejudices, thus eliminating the stigma that stands between people.
