Abstract

In spite of the many information  and references related to irregular immigrants in Spain, the studies dealing with their situations, motives and prospects are few. The purpose of this paper is to give a profile of the foreign citizens in an irregular documentary situation in 2002 and 2003, establishing comparisons with some of the traits of regular foreign migrants and outlining some characteristics pertaining to irregular immigrants from Colombia, Ecuador and Morocco.
