Pregnancy and implementation of family reunification as a strategy.
Abstract
This paper has its origin in a more comprehensive survey about family reunification and its wide range of issues at Spain to focus on a particular kind of reunification, that one the inmigrant decides to carry out when his/her stay at the host country goes on longer than expected. The paper depicts some questions showing the significance of reunification research to a better understanding of migration and the ways it can take; we are talking about what trigges this kind of reunification, how it is carried out and its effects, first, on particular migratory careers, second, on migration phenomenon and, finally, on host society.
