¿Es posible un transhumanismo cristiano? Discernimiento teológico, condiciones y límites

El artículo propone una síntesis tipológica del transhumanismo —fuerte, moderado y cristiano— y muestra su utilidad para el discernimiento teológico. Se identifica su dimensión religiosa y escatológica —a veces caracterizada como “religión tecnognóstica”— y se establecen como norma de juicio la imago Dei y la theosis. Sobre esta base, la libertad morfológica se evalúa mediante tres criterios: finalidad terapéutica y proporcionalidad; justicia y no discriminación; coherencia escatológica frente a la tecnosalvación. De esta evaluación emerge un marco para un transhumanismo cristiano crítico, capaz de acoger posibilidades (terapias restaurativas, tecnologías inclusivas) y delimitar riesgos (reduccionismo materialista, cosificación del cuerpo, sustitución de la gracia por la tecnociencia). La novedad del trabajo radica en desplazar el foco de las meras tipologías descriptivas hacia un juicio prudencial normativo, articulado en niveles dogmático-fundamental, teleológico-antropológico, ético-práctico, que hacen posible evaluar casos concretos y con ello, poner sobre la mesa la posibilidad de un transhumanismo cristiano.
