Abstract

The European Council in March 2005 confirmed the delay and the gap in the fulfillment of the Lisbon objective, this fact has lead to the relaunch of a renovated strategy for the EU,
which priorities are the promotion of growth and employment. The main purpose of this study is the analysis of the present situation of the members of the EU in relation to the global
objective to convert in a competitive information society in 2010. This article shows the results of a comparative analysis about technology infraestructure in the EU, in order to have
a better use of the ITC.
