Is Veganism Ethical?

Veganism has been proposed as an ethical food alternative. Recent knowledge on plant neurobiology demonstrates that plants have electrochemical information flows that suggest complex cognitive activities such as memory, learning, intelligence, social behaviors, etc. This in turn may lead to the consideration that plants have dignity and rights, which could paralyze human action, or lead to the reflection that plants have value and deserve some moral considerations. This should make people rethink ethical ways of feeding.Downloads
