The care of independent professional judgment

There are currently various situations that pose challenges to building and maintaining responsible and independent professional judgment. This is a core value in medical practice that may conflict with other values and that requires certain conditions that hinder its development. Bioethics therefore faces a problem. This study draws attention to the importance of this aspect of medical practice in order to properly consider it compared with other values and to propose courses of action to implement it into clinical practice.
