The CRISPR-Cas9 Revolution: an Approximation of Genome Editing from a Bioethical and Human Rights Perspective

The introduction of CRISPR-Cas9 technology opens up new possibilities in the fields of health, agriculture and the environment. Its application generates unprecedented conflicts between fundamental rights, where bioethics could serve as an analytical tool. This article analyzes the legal, social and ethical impact of genome editing, along with the possible mechanisms offered by Spanish law to overcome these concerns.
