Comunicação digital em pesquisa científica: potencialidades, controvérsias e desafios no processo de consentimento

Resumo

O texto aborda o impacto da comunicação digital na pesquisa científica, ressaltando sua capacidade de ampliar o alcance e eficiência da investigação. Destaca a crescente utilização de tecnologias da informação e comunicação na coleta de dados, recrutamento de participantes e obtenção de consentimento remoto. Apesar dos benefícios, como acesso facilitado e transparência, são mencionados desafios éticos, como a segurança dos dados e a representatividade da amostra. O recrutamento on-line pode favorecer determinadas regiões geográficas onde o acesso à internet é mais difundido, excluindo indivíduos de áreas menos desenvolvidas. É enfatizada a importância de garantir compreensão e privacidade dos participantes. Propõe-se uma abordagem multifacetada para adaptar as diretrizes éticas à era digital, envolvendo especialistas interdisciplinares e partes interessadas na elaboração de políticas específicas. Essa abordagem visa promover uma pesquisa científica ética, transparente e inclusiva na era digital, contribuindo para avanços significativos na ciência.
