Abstract

The relentless reality of COVID-19 pandemic in the United States has emphasized the failure in its sanitary system in relation to a population group that has been subject to permanent exclusion, the Native American nations. This article aims to provide an overview of the disagreements between the Donald Trump administration and the Indian nations, analyzing their background, how health care has been organized and ruled and the consequences that the pandemic has had on the indigenous tribes.
