The article consists of three parts. In the first, a journey through the history of the Alumni Association of the Colegio de San José in Valladolid is made. The second and third parts contain the speeches of the solemn act by that Prof. Manuel Revuelta González was recognized as a distinguished alumnus from this College, on June 8, 2014. The first intervention offers the laudatio delivered by Prof. Jesús Sanjosé in which he highlights the merits of Manuel Revuelta that make him worthy of this distinction. The second reproduces the lecture that Revuelta himself pronounced and in which he places the San José school in the context of the «15 founding schools» of the Society of Jesus in Spain, and then offers a brief overview of its history since 1881, the year of its foundation.
