Abstract

This work reflects about the methods and techniques of qualitative and quantitative research focusing on four key aspects: the need to know and use the various methods of social research by researchers and research; the close interweaving of research methods in the disciplines for which they serve; aspects and key duties in teaching social research methods with students and new researchers; and
the importance of objectivity in social research but the
impossibility of neutrality.
