The increasing use of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is having a great impact on society and, more specifically, on the educational context. As a result, the evaluation of learning results must be considered, especially in the process towards the incorporation in the European Space for Higher Education. A deep reflection on the role of these technologies is urged, with emphasis on the different questions that evaluation with TIC may address and other tools derived from technologies that can be also useful for the evaluation of learning results.
