The author presents a psychobiography of Eugene Gendlin, one of the pioneers in the field of the Experiential Therapy, and the creator of Focusing, its main therapeutic tool. After unfolding this historic and personal profile he shareshis experiences in practicing and teaching Focusing: in his own experience, in the clients’ experience, and in the learners’ experience. By doing this, the author explains and exemplifies the main concepts of Focusing, and the key steps of the experiential change process.
