Abstract

We proceed to teach the technique «Thinking at the Edge» (PDB/TAE)(Gendlin and Hendricks, 2004) to a group of students of Teacher Training —specialty«Speech-Language and Hearing» (n =29)— for six sessions of one hour ofduration. Before and after the training, Test Experiencial (Experiencing Test,Aguilar 2004) is used to measure possible effects in the experiencing stages. Datasupport a pre/post difference in the stages 2 and 5. The stage 2 punctuates higherin the «pre» situation and the stage 5 punctuates higher in the «post» situation.Data can be interpreted as an improvement in experiencing stages in the «post»situation. A guiding factor analysis informs of a first factor that we call «analysis» and three rotated factors: «to think sensed», «feelings and previous perspectives» and «rational theorizing». We hope a study with wider sample confirmsthese results.
