The Child’s right to family life

Although the Universal Declaration of Human Rights consider the right of founding a family as an adults right, this article aims to defend the family asa fundamental right of children, as its considered in the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. For that purpose we present the understanding of family relationsas a basic need for the children, where this right is based on, and the different ways to protect it, in the national and international child protection practice,and the main lacks and contradictions in this right protection nowadays. Finally we conclude with some proposals.Downloads
