Abstract

This article explains the specific methodological and procedural changes meant to improve the teaching and learning of Science through English implemented in an infant and primary level state-run bilingual school which is classified as a school for at-risk children. It emphasizes the challenges that schools in vulnerable social and educational contexts must face when teaching a subject through a foreign language.
