Industrial districts as the unit of analysis: a methodology for identification

The profound crisis being experienced major traditional manufacturing, the abilityof the organization model based on industrial districts and the emerging line ofindustrial policy territorial court, demanding tools that allow researchers to easily move these realities. However, the use of different methodologies and complex causes situations where the geographic boundaries and productive industrial district are inconsistent, confusingand ambiguous, and thus the validity of the results obtained.Therefore, the objective of this paper is to provide a simple and practical methodological proposal to delimit these realities, which applied to textile Spanish us feelas timely, valid and effective.References
