Abstract

We analyzed the relations between the organizational climate, the labor satisfaction and the results, in work parties formed by professors and/or investigators who work in university departments. We came to the application of an instrument validated previously to measure the variables organizational climate, labor satisfaction and results of the work in the universities, a Spanish sample and another Chilean. The study demonstrates that statistically significant relations between the three analyzed variables exist. In the Spanish sample the productivity is related to the labor pressure, the satisfaction and the academic development. In the Chilean sample the results are related to the freedom of chair and the satisfaction. The satisfaction of the relations with the students, in general does not seem to be related to the studied results.
