Studying the sociodemographic profiles of migrations from a gender perspective becomes crucial considering the strong migratory flows that characterize European countries to determine the real relations with respect to their male peers in a longitudinal and transversal manner. This study carries out a detailed and descriptive analysis of the gender indicators available in the Eurostat database in order to study the disaggregated data in relation to demography and migration to reveal the utilities and limitations it offers. After the analysis developed, Eurostat is verified as one of the most complete databases at European level. However, despite having indicators that allow generic profiles of migrant women, it is visible the need for statistics that make possible to specify the diversity in the profile of migrant women, so as not to have to resort to data offered by other statistical sources at national or international level.
