Musical style: Walt Disney soundtracks

Abstract

This article, number four of the series “Music and more music” presents Original Disney sountrack as a musical style. It talks about the history, the audience to which this style is addressed to, the aim of this music style, the musical characteristics and the main singers. The author chooses the song “Hakuna matata” from The Lion King, composed by Elton John and Tim Rice, to analyze musically and from an ethic and citizenship point of view.
