Abstract

With the Vatican II, the ecumenism stopped being a subject in the seminary studies to become a «dimension» of the Church. That is the reason why the Decree Unitatis redintegratio (UR) is seen as a very cornerstone of the Council. What the Catholic Church has gone through since then, with its ups and down, involved and still does a very structural change.
