This paper aims to identify the key ideas of V. Soloviev´s esthetic thought, thanks to the publication in Spanish of his writings about esthetics and the research that has been published recently. The author highlights the anthropological and epistemological implications of Soloviev’s thought and the dialogue that can be established between his thought and several later thinkers and artists, especially V. Kandinsky.
