Fundamentalismos religiosos en el Islam

Abstract

Islam, before XIX Century, develops many renewal movements whose goal was to legitimate a new kind of political power. Contemporary Islam offers two alternatives. First, a religious renewal in the conscience of believers being the reason for a social change, we call that renewal «revisionism». Second, an external social revolution according to muslim norms, which we call «zelotism».
