Abstract

There is often a certain distrust of proposals for moral education. However, humans have always tried to (over)live and also to live well. And that is what moral education is about, learning to live as well as possible. But, although from the beginning it is usually believed that this is easy to know, it is not so, but rather it is a very difficult task, which requires paying attention to experience (to what happens to us) and dedicating much thoughtful effort to know what to expect in each circumstance and to orient oneself to it.
