Teenagers listen to music an average of four hours a day. This means a great influence of the music they listen to in their daily lives. On one side, lyrics are filled with explicit or implicit sexual content in popular folk songs, rock and roll, tango or current reggaeton. It shouldn’t be mixed up with sexism, which is also there in songs whose lyrics talk about gender and sexual violence. On the other side there are songs that talk about sincere love. Both types of songs are suggested to analyze in class with students.Downloads
