Abstract

A brief description of loving ups and downs in adolescence is done in this article, understanding that emotion attracts as much as it frightens. However, three aspects that can make emotional learning difficult are emphasized in this actual socio-cultural atmosphere: excessive stimulation, confusion of messages and values, and predominance of individualism. Finally some correcting elements that can facilitate health emotional development are proposed in order to avoid overprotection, to cultivate the will, to facilitate communal spaces and to express affection and support.
