The construction of emotions: of how today’s young people learn the things about love

The analysis of films and magazines read by adolescents allows us to know what kind of values is related to emotions that seem to predominate nowadays and that don’t usually coincide with the ones defended from school and family. On the one hand, it is verified that “romantic love” has given way to a superficially hedonist idea of emotional relations, but on the other hand, the sexist differences between males and females tend to persist. Lastly, it is recommended to develop activities for the classroom that help the knowledge and discussion about these values.Downloads
