Abstract

This worksheet starts talking about the birth and evolution of jazz and the social context where it was born. It continues explaining its musical characteristics and names of the most representative jazz figures.  A Jamie Cullum song is suggested to be analyzed in class, work on values and relate the song with other subjects.
