Abstract

Over the past years, We have observed the appearance of a significant number of television series that seek to bring the general public closer to the knowledge of our history. Media products with high power to influence the imagery of their viewers, as well as the creation of stereotypes. This article proposes to reflect on the role that television products of the intended historical character can play in the knowledge of people as well as on the utility of this approach to historical knowledge.

Doctor en Ciencias de la Educación y licenciado en Historia por la UCM.Es profesor de la Universidad Pontificia Comillas CIHS e imparte el máster en Formación del Profesorado en la Universidad Nebrija.
