Abstract

School and family are basic means in the processes of socialization, learning and education of children. As a consequence, the collaboration between the family and school is fundamental and more so with students with special educational needs.

To this end, the school must inform and train the families, the latter being an optimal and preventive resource if used with resources, doctors and other professionals. The special education teacher can also help families with this type of pupil by providing them with a model of curricular support.
