The challenge of educating egalitarian students

Abstract

The school that educates in values must also educate in equality to prevent gender violence, which is a learnt behaviour. Gender based violence is used when reality does not correspond with the unfair wishes of a man who wants attention, discipline, respect and obedience. Investing in equality means earning security and justice. Therefore, the educative community must compromise and be able to educate in equality.
