Abstract

Within the European Education Area, all the key competences are oriented to foster global competence in pupils. Mainly two of them: 5th (Personal, Social and Learning competence) and 6th (Civic Competence). From this competences, Global Competence can be understood as living in global social context with an active and constructive participation, taking into account different perspectives from social human groups, and respecting diversity due to a deep understanding of Human Dignity. Profesor Titular de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, experto en Educación Supranacional (especialmente en la política educativa de la Unión Europea).
