Sometimes we insist on the usage of oral language as the best way of communication in the classroom. Over the course of six months a primary school teacher alongside a performing arts educator have cooperated in order to make non-verbal communication and sensory stimulations a helpful tool in the cognitive and psychomotor development of those students with multiple disabilities. During this time we have generated a set of dynamics that have favoured the expressive capacities of the students, the educators and the students' families.
