Abstract

This article shows the institutional experience of Fe y Alegria in Special and Inclusive Education in Bolivia. The educational approach is based on the principles of Popular Education and shares its values and methodology. For this reason, it highlights the importance of the active participation of the parents in the accompaniment of their children with disabilities with regard to their development, participation and full exercise of citizenship.
